This year’s awards were officially launched at the House of Commons on March 3 where Margot James MP and Business Minister Matthew Hancock attended with more than 200 senior business leaders.
Peter Digby, managing director of Xtrac (last year’s ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ winning company), said: “I would encourage all of you to apply for these awards. For us, beating the likes of Rolls-Royce, BAE and Babcock was a fantastic achievement and is a clear acknowledgement of the whole teams’ hard work and dedication.”
This year’s prize-giving ceremony will take place on November 26 in Birmingham, with more than 1,000 guests expected to attend.
The Manufacturer MX Awards 2015 are supported by headline sponsor RBS, co-sponsor IOSH and category sponsors Bluefin Solutions, EAL, ENER-G, Epicor, EPSRC Centre, The ERA Foundation, Industry Forum, MSTLN, Pera Training, Renishaw, University of Birmingham and WMG.
