Business IT vendor Oracle has announced the availability of its new ‘Cloud Adapters’ to simplify integration between cloud and on premise applications.
Oracle has launched its new Cloud Adaptors to help businesses manage the integration of on-premise-based applications and cloud-based applications, rationalising network, security, and application management.
The Cloud Adaptors build in Oracle’s 300+ standards‑based integration adapters and aim to help organisations easily integrate applications regardless of deployment location—whether in the cloud or on‑premise.
The Oracle Cloud Adapter for Salesforce.com, for instance, introduces a standardised wizard‑based approach to application integration in order to reduce the time, cost and complexity of linking a company’s own on-premise applications – such as ERP – with Salesforce.com.
Oracle claims the Cloud Adapter s can reduce application integration time by as much as 50%.
