It seems as though no car manufacturer is safe from recall woes, even if it does mean they have to recall only a single car.
This seems to be the case for high-end luxury car maker, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, which has been forced to recall one if its Ghost models.
The car, which usually sells for well over £200,000, has thorax air bags fitted to both front seats that may fail to meet the side impact performance requirements demanded by regulators.
The company said that in the event of a crash, the airbags could actually increase the risk of injury to the front seat passengers.
The recall will give the Goodwood-based marque the joint title of smallest recall in history.
The BMW-owned manufacturer has said it would replace the part free of charge.
All this means for the owner is that he must wait even longer for his car, as he had not yet taken delivery of the vehicle when the fault was found.
