Neil joined The Royal Bank of Scotland in 1995 having graduated with an honours degree in economics and a masters degree in international economics. He has worked in economic research for 18 years and worked closely with former MPC member Marian Bell. His current areas of focus are on the economies of the G10, interest rate and foreign exchange markets. In this capacity, Neil regularly speaks at corporate events and seminars, hosts a regular monthly conference call for clients, attends client meetings and writes research on all of these subjects for clients and for publication in influential business journals.
