Partner, Pryce and Myers

Tim Lucas is a Partner at Price & Myers Consulting Engineers.  A chartered structural engineer with 20 years’ of industry experience, he works with some of the world’s leading architects and artists on the design of well-crafted, beautiful buildings, sculptures and bridges.  Tim is the founder of the Price & Myers’ Geometrics team, specialising in structurally and geometrically challenging projects, and much of his work pioneers structurally innovative systems and digitally crafted manufacturing methods. Notable recent projects include the Richard Wilson (RA) Slipstream sculpture in Heathrow Terminal 2, his own home, Kew House designed with Piercy & Co and shortlisted for RIBA House of the Year in 2015, and a number of award winning bridges. In 2015 Tim was the recipient of the IABSE Milne Medal, awarded to an individual engineer for excellence in structural design, both in the overall concept and in the attention to detail in their work.  He lectures in Structural Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
