UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) is the UK's national battery manufacturing scale-up facility, based in Coventry. It helps companies bridge the gap between laboratory research and commercial production by providing pilot-scale manufacturing capabilities, process development and expertise to accelerate the industrialisation of advanced battery technologies. UKBIC plays a central role in strengthening the UK's battery supply chain and supporting the growth of domestic manufacturing for automotive, aerospace, defence and energy storage applications.
