Diametric to showcase internationally
A UK manufacturer is heading overseas this June as it says there is an increased demand for certain British-produced goods abroad.
Industrial nameplate and logo specialist, Diametric, says there is increased demand for UK manufactured product branding and badging in mainland Europe and other parts of the world. As a result, it will attend the Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo in Stuttgart in June for the first time in its history, with the aim of positioning itself as a leading supplier to the overseas automotive manufacturing market.
Graham Steele, Sales and Marketing Director at Diametric, says: “The recently observed spells of positivity in UK’s automotive manufacturing sector, following record exports last year, has proven that UK manufacturing has a place on the global market.
“In addition, we have seen an increase in product designers and manufacturers from mainland Europe and further afield coming to us with specific needs for intricate work. Britain really is leading the way in this very detailed form of product badging and branding and our attendance at this event reinforces our drive to be the top of that list.”
The Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo is one of the largest, most comprehensive exhibitions dedicated to vehicle technologies. Expo organisers anticipate to see exhibitors from around 60 different countries and over 11,000 automotive engineers and purchasing chiefs are expected to pass through the doors.
Diametric, which already designs, manufactures and supplies nameplates to many top household automotive names such as Jaguar Cars, Triumph Motorcycles and Aston Martin, can be found at the exhibition (12-14 June at Stuttgart Messe) on the SMMT pavilion (stand 4300C).
