UK’s only lithographic coil rolling plant uses video to full effect.
Bridgnorth Aluminium, the UK’s only manufacturer of lithographic (printing plate) material – and one of only three producers in Europe – required a showpiece video for stakeholders, clients, staff and potential clients. The piece was to incorporate 2D & 3D animation with footage of their various processes, to highlight their vast infrastructure and capacity, and their company history.
“We required a video not only to show how the range of our manufacturing site, but also something that shows our legacy and history in the region.” says Adrian Musgrave, Sales and Marketing Manager at Bridgnorth Aluminium. “We produce more than 50,000 tonnes per annum of litho coil and our pedigree goes back to the 1930’s. Many of our processes involve huge, highly technical production lines, so we needed a blend of video and animation to show how the lithographic material is produced.”
Ignite Creative, a media production company based in Oxford and the Midlands, were commmissioned to make a video that incorporated all these aspects. “On this job we were able to use the full range of our skills to meet Bridgnorth’s brief. The 3D models of machinery and the site showed what goes on in detail that our footage couldn’t capture. Combining that with crane shots and other animations meant that we could show off Bridgnorth Aluminium’s production line in an entertaining and informative way.”
“The video has been a sucess and in ways we never thought off. A lot of employees have shown it to their families to show what the company does!” remarked Adrian.
