Umoe Schat-Harding improves safety at sea with Infor
Infor10 ERP Enterprise (LN) enables nautical life-saving systems leader to standardize processes across global manufacturing and service operations

The global leader of life-saving systems at sea has manufacturing sites in Europe, Asia and the Americas, 21 worldwide offices and a global service network that provides maintenance, spare parts, repairs and refurbishment with regular service intervals. ERP Enterprise is designed to support the company’s complex multi-site organization and enables visibility, control and compliance across every aspect of the manufacturing supply chain, from design through to delivery, and beyond to the after-market service business.
Until recently, Umoe Schat-Harding did not use a global system. The different sites had their individual systems and processes to run business-critical operations such as service management, production, finance and HR. To ensure better quality through consistent information, standardized processes and to support Umoe Schat-Harding’s vision to improve safety at sea, the need for IT simplification and consolidation through a Single Instance, Global ERP system was apparent.
