Stratasys and Adobe make multiple colour 3D printing a reality

Stratasys, in partnership with Adobe, have released Creative Colors Software, which is designed to allow for full multiple colour 3D printing via the Objet Connex3 3D Printer.

The software combines advanced color management (including vibrant gradient colors) with a direct design-to-3D print workflow. So for the first time you can can produce 3D printed models with multiple colors and multiple material properties.

By incorporating multiple gradient colors, patterns, and textures, combined with the 3D printer’s multi-material capabilities, a model produced on the Objet Connex3 can have the same look and feel as the final intended product, vastly reducing product development times while increasing product quality.

The inclusion of Stratasys Creative Colors currently makes the Objet Connex3 the only 3D printer series that benefits from Adobe Color Management and experience.

Stratasys will be exhibiting at Additive 2016, taking place at the AMRC, in Sheffield, UK on April 21, 2016.
