Ozgur Tohumcu is the General Manager of Automotive & Manufacturing at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He believes that the acceleration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers enormous potential for the manufacturing sector.
His keynote speech at the Manufacturing Digitalisation Summit, part of Smart Manufacturing Week, was entitled Realising the promise of Industry 4.0 with AI. The session covered how customers are using AWS solutions to explore the possibilities with generative AI, identifying use cases across the automotive and manufacturing industry.
Ozgur gave insight to the most comprehensive set of purpose-built data and AI/ML services, to explain how manufacturers can securely infuse proprietary data into a variety of foundation models and develop applications tailored to their unique operations, processes, products, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
