Microsoft has announced that multinational industrial engineering group, Thyssenkrupp will soon be leveraging the power of its fully self-contained, high-definition holographic computer, HoloLens.
Using HoloLens, Thyssenkrupp’s more than 24,000 service technicians will be able to visualise and identify problems with elevators ahead of a job, and have remote, hands-free access to technical and expert information when onsite – all resulting in significant savings in time and resources.
With the aim of empowering service technicians to do their jobs more safely and efficiently, Thyssenkrupp’s embracing of HoloLens serves as a perfect complement to MAX, its innovative predictive maintenance service for elevators.
