Parliamentary Manufacturing Inquiry: CALL FOR EVIDENCE

The Associate Parliamentary Manufacturing Group (APMG) has published a call for evidence for its current inquiry into UK Industrial Culture and Competitiveness, and they want to hear from you!

In this video Thomas Kohut, manager of the Group, explains the inquiry’s focus and how individuals and organisations can give evidence and get involved.

Led by Conservative Chris White MP and Labour’s Jonathan Reynolds MP, this major piece of research is examining how Government and industry can work together to achieve a resilient and world-beating manufacturing sector coming out of recession.

Running from March to September, with a report due to be published in the Autumn, they have so far taken evidence from key players in the debate including manufacturing businesses, trade associations, civil servants, trade unions, professional institutions and chambers of commerce.

Readers of The Manufacturer magazine are now being invited to take part. To find out how to contribute your views, visit the APMG website at www.policyconnect.org.uk/apmg.
