Project director, Richard Noble offers an update on Bloodhound SSC

With a number of major funding deals still in negotation, the Bloodhound SSC’s land speed record attempt has been delayed by 12 months.

Announced by project director, Richard Noble, the revised schedule means that UK runway trials – originally planned for spring 2016 – will take place in the autumn.

Following a successful trail, the first (800mph) record attempt – held at South Africa’sĀ Hakskeen Pan – will take placeĀ sometime in 2017, rather than autumn 2016 as originally planned.
