Before joining our Manufacturing Engineering programme, Sara was planning on going to university. That was until she saw a TV programme about how to build a jumbo jet engine. A few months later she found herself 400 miles away from home gaining hands-on experience and working towards a degree as part of her Rolls-Royce higher apprenticeship.
