What are some of the unique challenges faced by SME manufacturers? – SME Growth Summit 2021

The challenges faced by manufacturers are wide ranging – but for SME manufacturers the issues are more unique. We spoke to two organisations who outlined some of the issues that they’ve faced in recent years.

Laura McBrown, Managing Director at G and B Electronics and Emma Harbottle, Group Managing Director at Analox Group are both delegates at this year’s SME Growth Summit, part of Digital Manufacturing Week. This event has been introduced to discuss the issues faced by SMEs in Manufacturing.

SME Growth Summit 2021, in partnership with the MTC’s Digitalising Manufacturing Conference,  takes place in Liverpool on 9-11 November, where strategic leaders of UK SME manufacturers get together to discuss the issues that matter relating to people, platform and process. SME Growth Summit is exclusively for organisations with a turnover up to £100m.

The event will offer a unique opportunity for you to get the information you need from leading experts in digital manufacturing through presentations and panel discussions, as well as being able to sit down with your peers at interactive roundtable discussions to discuss and identify the most effective avenues of growth and equip you to act on them.

Designed for the leadership teams of UK SME manufacturers looking to increase market share, or break into new markets entirely, and thrive in today’s industry.

SME Growth Summit runs in-person at Digital Manufacturing Week in the afternoons of the 10 and 11 November, directly after the MTC’s Digitalising Manufacturing Conference running in the mornings as a hybrid event.
