Additive manufacturing specialist AMufacture is teaming up with global technology leader HP to showcase the latest advances in 3D printing.
AMufacture is throwing open the doors of its Portsmouth base for an Open House and Demo Day in collaboration with HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions later this month.
AMufacture – which was founded by Craig Pyser and Will Howden in 2018 – has enjoyed rapid growth and developed into the leading contract manufacturer in the additive manufacturing industry.
Craig said the Open House and Demo Day on 20 January would be a chance to highlight some of the huge steps forward in additive manufacturing.
“We’re delighted to be teaming up with our friends at HPAM for this special Open House which will showcase how additive manufacturing now has true production capability and can deliver parts at scale and with consistency, quality and speed.
“Nine out of every ten parts which leave our headquarters are now destined for end-use rather than as a prototype and the industry has huge potential as it continues to develop at pace.”
The event – which runs from 10am to 3pm and includes lunch – will feature:
- Live HP Multi Jet Fusion demonstrations
- Technical workshops and real case studies
- Break‑out discussions on security, scanning, materials, manufacturing, post‑processing & quality control
- Networking opportunities with industry professionals
François Minec, VP & Global Head of Sales and Business Development, HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions, commented: “As additive manufacturing is rapidly evolving, this Open House will provide an excellent opportunity to explore these developments and will be a valuable day for anyone interested in seeing how additive manufacturing can transform their business and deliver high-quality, industrial, production-scale manufacturing.”
