The Manufacturer magazine is holding a Chemicals Round Table on the 21st November at its annual conference at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London.
The Chemicals Round Table will be chaired by Tom Crotty of INEOS and Chairman at Cogent, and moderated by Tom Moore from The Manufacturer.
The Round Table will culminate in a Sector Reflection Report that will feature in a subsequent issue of The Manufacturer magazine.
With much innovation in the manufacturing sector emerging from advances in chemicals, the Round Table will address legislation, energy prices, supply chain issues, research and development costs that could hinder innovation and price improvements.
The Manufacturer’s sector-by-sector report will set out a practical roadmap for growth based on points made by decision makers at these Round Tables, which will be read by participating customers’ suppliers and customers as well as government.
Participants at the round table, which runs from 15:20 to 16:30, will receive a VIP pass to the whole conference, which includes keynotes and discussion from Michael Fallon, Minister for Business and Enterprise, and Richard Noble OBE as morning keynote speakers (for more information visit www.themanufacturer.com/mdc2012).
“As always, new innovation and the pipeline to create new products and services from chemicals innovation remains at the top of the agenda and the issues that surround it. How the UK can create a better environment for this will serve as a key point of the debate as well tracking the current state of the sector,” said Tom Moore, Associate Editor at The Manufacturer.
