A1 Flue Systems has formed a strategic alliance with the Bin Jabr Group, which will see commercial flue and chimney systems designed and manufactured in North Nottinghamshire used in the construction of some of the highest-profile developments in the United Arab Emirates.

A team from the HVAC and Energy Division of the company visited A1’s Ollerton-based factory to see first-hand how the company manufactures bespoke chimney and flue systems in accordance with the CE Mark – the mandatory EU manufacturing requirement for products such as flues, stoves, radiators and fans.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the Bin Jabr Group Ltd. is one of the major business groups in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With more than 40 years of experience, the group’s activities include manufacturing; trading & servicing; engineering, and contracting.

The group’s CEO, Murat Aydemir, and the general manager of the HVAC and Energy Division, Praveen Kumar, said they were very impressed with A1’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

He commented: “A1 Flue Systems came highly recommended as a world-class solution provider, and a visit to its factory has exceeded our expectations of a company that the Bin Jabr Group can partner with on a range of projects in the United Arab Emirates.

“It has an impressive portfolio of projects – such as The Shard and now Battersea Power Station – and it is very clear that the company has a level of excellence in its ability to design and deliver bespoke commercial flue and chimney systems.

“This sets them apart because they are focused on delivering complete solutions, rather than assembling systems using a limited range of generic component parts.

“There are a lot of similarities between our companies, not least that we are both family businesses and we share the same visions and values, which will make for a strong partnership that will be mutually beneficial for many years to come.”
