Advanced Engineering 2016, the UK’s largest annual engineering trade show, has announced a new partnership with The Manufacturer, published by Hennik Research.
As part of the arrangement, The Manufacturer will bring its Smart Factory Expo to Birmingham’s NEC, on November 2-3, to run alongside Advanced Engineering 2016.
The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo is part of a series of events – The Manufacturer Live – which examine in detail, Britain’s response to the increasing technology and digital focus of industry, often referred to as Industry 4.0.
The Manufacturer Live includes:
- The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo (November 2-3);
- The Manufacturer Top 100 (November 1);
- The Manufacturer Annual Leaders Conference (November 2-3);
- and The Manufacturer MX Awards (November 2).
The manufacturing and engineering sectors are experiencing rapid change and growth, most noticeably as a result of the fourth industrial revolution, making the partnership particularly prescient.
Both Advanced Engineering 2016 and The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo seek to provide attendees with thought-provoking and engaging content, which addresses significant industry trends, alongside future-proofing the sector.
