A|D|S's Advanced Engineering Regional Office in Bangalore will support the stand the company is organising with UKTI DSO at Aero India 2011.

Announced two years ago, UK AERO has played an active role in bringing together the UK and Indian aerospace, defence and security sectors. Some of the UK companies which have benefited from their engagement with UK AERO include: Group Rhodes, BAE Systems, CAA International, Aeromet International, Paul Fabs, and Maher.

Ashok Saxena, director of UK AERO, said: “Since our launch, UK AERO has managed in collaboration with A|D|S significant success in raising awareness among UK companies of the potential and opportunities open to those engaging with the Indian aerospace and defence markets.”

Ian Godden, chairman of A|D|S, said: “India is one of the most exciting developing economies on the world stage at the moment. From the Jaguar to the Hawk and beyond, the UK defence, aerospace and security industries have enjoyed a successful relationship with India. It makes sense for UK industry to seek further collaboration with our Indian counterparts, for mutual benefit.”

AERO’s office in Bangalore opened a year ago, complimenting the existing A|D|S office in New Delhi.

Godden continued: “Our UK AERO office in Bangalore, and operations in New Delhi are helping us to achieve this, and are introducing the world beating and innovative SMEs for which the UK is rightly known to their Indian counterparts with great success.”
