Sales of Aga, Rayburn and Stanley cookers have fallen slightly from the 20,000 units sold in 2006.
Rangemaster cookers, however, experienced a 10 per cent rise in sales for 2007, taking the figure to an impressive 75,000 units.
The Fired Earth and Grange brands, which had been going through a “sticky patch”, also saw some sales improvement. “We are confident of [their] prospects going forward,” said chief executive William McGrath.
2008 is expected to “prove a demanding year for consumer businesses,” according to McGrath, although improved products and a widening of the Rangemaster appliance range are hoped to increase group revenue.
