Bury-based car care products manufacturer and distributor, Tetrosyl, has won the prestigious Asda Supplier of the Year for Home and Leisure.
The awards dinner, in Harrogate, was attended by 1,000 Asda suppliers. Tetrosyl is the first automotive supplier to win the category with the company beating strong competition from more than 200 other non-food suppliers to be crowned winner.
“Being named as Supplier of the Year for Home and Leisure is especially rewarding, given the strong competition in this category and the fact an automotive supplier has never won it before,” said Tetrosyl managing director, Mike Green.
Tetrosyl, which exports to more than 75 countries, is the largest manufacturer and supplier of car care products in the UK. With an annual turnover in excess of £100 million, the privately-owned company also specialises in oils and lubricants, refinishing and DIY products.
Success is not new to Tetrosyl who have a number of award-winning innovative products and brands such as T-Cut, CarPlan, Triplewax and Wonder Wheels.
