Aviramp has reported a landmark year in 2025, marked by strong sales growth, major international contracts and the launch of new products, as the company sets its sights on further expansion in 2026.
The Telford-based manufacturer, a global leader in step-free aircraft boarding ramps, generated more than £7.15m in equipment sales during 2025, with £2.8m coming from new customers. The year also coincided with the company marking 15 years since its official launch.
Among the standout achievements was Aviramp’s first appearance at the Dubai Airshow, where it secured a five-year procurement agreement with global ground handling specialist dnata. The contract enables dnata bases worldwide to order directly from Aviramp without the need for a tender process, a significant endorsement of the company’s technology and reliability.
Aviramp also launched its ChairLifter, a purpose-built, solar-powered lift designed to safely load electric mobility aids onto aircraft. The product performed strongly during trials, securing sales even before its official launch and creating a healthy sales pipeline for the year ahead.
Global demand continued to grow, with the number of Aviramps in operation worldwide increasing to more than 950 following new sales across North America, Asia, Europe and Australasia. Closer to home, the company’s progress was recognised with inclusion in the Sunday Times Top 100 and two wins at the Shropshire Business Awards. Aviramp chief executive Graham Corfield was also named as an Inspiring Leader in the The Manufacturer Top 100 in 2025.
Corfield said the business was well positioned for further growth in the year ahead. “We have laid the foundations for a transformational year,” he said. “Demand for safer, more inclusive boarding solutions is rising worldwide, and we are ready to meet that demand with the same innovation and customer focus that have defined Aviramp from day one.”
