Shropshire-based manufacturer, GWR Fasteners has taken delivery of its third new CNC machine in 16 months as the company continues to expand to meet a rapidly increasing demand for its products.
With significant financial support from Close Brothers Asset Finance, the company has been able to acquire three specialist machines that have facilitated its growth from a small-scale operation to a global distribution hub.
Serving clients across a number of industries – from precision engineering firms to the defence sector, GWR Fasteners is now able to produce a wide range of products in-house, including standard fasteners, metal plating and its unique GWR Colourfast service.
Managing director of GWR Fasteners, Gary Robinson commented: “The demand for our services has been greater than we could ever have imagined.
“By the time we took delivery of the first CNC machine, we were already thinking about purchasing a second as we knew we needed to be able to respond to the needs of our customers.
“We now have a third machine in an equally short time frame and the benefit of having this equipment is that we can now offer a wider range of products and a much quicker turnaround time, and it has meant that orders from new and existing clients continue to grow.
