The British Family, who have pledged to consume only British-made goods for one year, have organised British Family Fayre, a family day out “to prove that our nation still leads the world in manufacturing, farming and production”.

The Bradshaws, aka The British Family, have organised the British Family Fayre to celebrate products made in the UK.

In a bid to raise awareness of British production, the fair will showcase products made in Britain in a variety of sectors, from fashion to automotive and food and drink.

The event will take place from August 31 to September 1 in Westerham, Kent, the former home of Winston Churchill.

Exhibitors can display their crafts and methods of manufacture at workshops. The deadline for application for these workshops is May 27.

The Bradshaws, who describe themselves as a normal family with normal occupations, will exercise strict quality control “to ensure that the experience for both the public and the businesses involved is a fulfilling one”.

The British Family said, “We want to see the creativity behind each and every business and this is one of the selection criteria that we will look for as well as delivering the story of the business, demonstrating where possible the production or manufacturing involved and making as a whole an unforgettable family day out.”
