Manufacturer of Jaguar emblem invests £100k in ERP system

Zinc and aluminium pressure diecaster BSC has invested £100k in an ERP system after narrowly escaping administration in 2009.

The investment is part of a three-stage plan to double turnover over the next three years, and adds to a flurry of investments over the past several months amounting to roughly £700k invested in new machinery and marketing campaigns.

Not wanting to be left behind, managing director Les Dudley said that the implementation of the new system will not only make it easier for people inside the company, but it will allow customers order direct, monitor production and track delivery of parts they have ordered.

After nearly being forced to closed in 2009, the Walsall-based company has overcome the dip and has announced new contracts worth £2m.
