Derby-based technology suppliers, the Carfulan Group, has expanded its building on the Tomlinson Business Park to include a demonstration and training facility that allows customers to experience its products before they purchase.

The firm was provided with a £350,000 commercial loan from NatWest and since completion of the expansion, it has taken on an additional eight employees to add to its 40-strong team.
Carfulan is also reportedly looking to create a further six positions by the end of the year.

Managing director of Carfulan, Andrew Fulton commented: “Without extending our building, we would have been offering a lesser service to our customers.
“NatWest were supportive throughout, and our close relationship that has been built over many years was key to them understanding our needs.”

NatWest relationship manager, Andy Upton added: “The products that Carfulan produce are intelligent and unique in their offering – the showroom is a perfect addition to the premises, and will allow the business to offer a full, professional service.”
Established in 1989, Carfulan is a family run business that provides SmartScope measuring machines; 3D printers; tool pre-setting, and measuring systems to UK manufacturers in the core industries of aerospace and automotive.
