Law firm DLA Piper, in conjunction with The Manufacturer, is asking for industry input into new research which will form a useful strategy benchmarking tool.
DLA Piper’s 2011 Manufacturing Trends and Challenges survey is gathering input from industry representatives in order to form an October report.
This publication will pinpoint the most important challenges to UK manufacturing for the immediate future and give manufacturers a springboard for strategy development.
The need to asses industry trends and minimise risk in strategy formation is greater than ever in the current economic climate. Companies need to benchmark their strategies against industry peers in order to have confidence in their direction. DLA piper’s report aims to provide this benchmarking facility.
Key focus pint for the survey include questions on; growth targets, access to finance, intentions for international expansion and levels of engagement with government formation of industrial policy.
DLA Piper is one of the largest law firms in the world and has been offering advice and guidance to manufacturing firms for around 200 years. With its UK headquarters in Sheffield DLA Piper’s manufacturing practice is close to one Britain’s key industry hubs.
The results of the survey will be published in the October issue of The Manufacturer and will be available to download online at href=”http www.themanufacturer.com.
