Bott has won the Large Manufacturer of the Year category at the inaugural Cornwall Manufacturers Group Awards.
The company manufacture and supply workshop equipment, in-vehicle equipment and workplace systems. They have sites Germany, the United Kingdom and Hungary.

The company now employs some 750 people world-wide (2011) with a turnover of €81 million (2011). Bott was founded in 1930 in Gaildorf, Germany. The company’s UK headquarters are based in Bute.
Award applicants were subjected to strict judging criteria which included site visits to allow judges to go beneath the surface of businesses and understand the true performance of the companies.
Bott is a long term committed supporter of the Cornwall Manufacturers Group.

Over the last 18 years the UK’s business has grown turnover from £5.5m to almost £36m. Throughout this time the company has continually invested in building a lean UK manufacturing capability.
