Corrotherm founder Jan Ward has won the Global Director of the Year award at this year’s London and South East Director of the Year Awards.
The event, held at London’s Pall Mall, saw the founder of Corrotherm International take the top prize for her work with the company that supplies high grade metals to the oil, gas and desalination markets.
Now with more international coverage than any of its European competitors, Corrotherm runs offices across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Ms Ward said receiving the recognition was a real honour.
“I’m honoured to win Global Director and really appreciate the recognition,” she said.
“I’d hope this award will make more young people consider engineering as a career. If winning this award helps to introduce the idea to more young students , it would be great.”
The gala dinner and awards ceremony is fully established as one of the UK’s leading awards, giving guests a chance to hear from other business leaders from across London and the South East; together the ‘Powerhouse’ of the UK’s economy.
