Jaguar Land Rover pauses US car exports

Jaguar Land Rover is halting its shipments to the US for four weeks in response to President Donald Trump’s 25% levy on vehicle imports. The carmaker has taken this decision following last week’s announcement of a swathe of global trade tariffs. With all UK goods receiving a blanket 10%, industries such as steel and aluminum and, as of last week, automotive have been hit with 25% tariffs. More via The Manufacturer

adi Group wins twice at Engineering Matters Awards

Multidisciplinary engineering firm adi Group’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and the community has seen it win two awards at the 2025 Engineering Matters Awards. The Birmingham-based business’ innovative pre-apprenticeship programme claimed the Diversity and Inclusion Champion Gold Award and Community Champion Silver Award at the ceremony held at the Postal Museum in London on 27th March 2025. More via The Manufacturer
