Welsh food giant 2 Sisters to donate 1.5m meals to charity
A food company with a factory in Rogerstone will be donating more than 1.5million more meals to those in need.
2 Sisters Food Group, well-known food producers based in Wales, will be running the second phase of their collaboration with M&S and FareShare, a charity focused on fighting food waste and insecurity. More via South Wales Argus
Boost offshore wind manufacturing for energy security, economy and jobs – report
The UK needs to triple the rate at which it is installing offshore wind farms – and must boost manufacturing to meet demand, a report has warned.
The report by think tank IPPR says that on current rates of installation, the UK will miss its 2030 targets for offshore wind capacity by 18 years, as well as missing out on revenue and jobs from a thriving renewables sector. More via Express & Star

Wockhardt secures £20m new facility to expand north Wales operation
North Wales-based pharmaceutical manufacturer, Wockhardt, had secured a new £20m lending facility to support its expansion plans. The Indian-owned business,. which has a global presence, has been backed by NatWest. The debt advisory team of professional advisory firm RSM acted for Wockhardt on the funding deal. Agricultural manufacturer to invest £700,000 in production line
A Wiltshire manufacturer, specialising in agricultural drying and processing equipment, is driving down its cost of production and delivering on growth potential with an investment into the largest bending machine of its kind in the UK.
Alvan Blanch, based in Chelworth, has over 70 years of experience developing and manufacturing large-scale equipment for the post-harvest agricultural industry. More via The Business Desk
