Aviramp flying high down under after £1.13m orders boost

UK aviation specialist Aviramp has strengthened its leading global position with two new deals worth £1.13m in Australasia.

The company – which now has some 650 of its pioneering step-free, non-slip ramps in use across the world – has clinched new deals with both Sydney and Queenstown airports. More via The Manufacturer

Astroscale and Airbus to advance UK in-orbit servicing

Airbus Defence and Space and Astroscale UK have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaborative opportunities in the field of in-orbit servicing and space debris removal.

This strategic partnership aims to leverage the strengths and capabilities of both companies to address the growing challenges of space sustainability and satellite longevity, with a particular focus on advancing the UK’s efforts in the in-orbit servicing and manufacturing industry and building a circular economy in space. HMG Paints scores partnership with FC United of Manchester

HMG Paints has scored a new partnership ahead of the new football season with FC United of Manchester. The partnership sees HMG become “Official Paint Partner” of FC United.

As part of the partnership HMG Paints will provide its paints and protective coatings for use at Broadhurst Park in Moston, which is home to FC United and Moston Juniors FC. More via The Manufacturer

Pincroft invests to boost camouflage printing capacity

Pincroft, a global leader in military fabric printing, dyeing and finishing, has announced an investment of over £1m in state-of-the-art equipment for its factory in the United Kingdom, to increase the textile manufacturer’s camouflage printing capacity to over 8 million metres per year. Mec Com fabricates a record year to celebrate a quarter of a century in business

A precision fabricator and specialist in electromechanical assembly is on course for its best-ever 12 months to mark its 25th anniversary.

Mec Com Fabrications, which employs 230 people across two manufacturing facilities in Hixon and Cluj-Napoca in Romania, is set to hit the £27m sales mark after winning a string of new business in electrical power distribution and the healthcare sectors. More via The Manufacturer
