JLR invests £500m into creating EV factory of the future in Merseyside
JLR has announced a £500m investment to transform its historic Halewood facility to support the parallel production of electric vehicles, alongside existing combustion and hybrid models.

Aircraft manufacturer productivity peaks despite lagging orders, says ADS Group

GE Vernova expands UK facilities
GE Vernova Inc. has announced the expansion of its existing manufacturing facilities in Stafford, UK. This should support the fast-growing demand for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems that will help power renewable projects throughout Europe, Asia and North America and support the UK’s energy transition. Manufacturing firm Terex cuts staff hours to reduce costs
Terex, the US manufacturing firm, is to cut hours for staff in its Northern Ireland operations as it continues to reduce costs.
It is understood the move will mean some workers will see their pay fall by hundreds of pounds a month. More via BBC News
