International British GT sports car racing team Drayson-Barwell has formed a technical partnership with construction equipment manufacturer JCB in the hope of furthering its environmental commitments.
The team is well known for its use of green technologies in motorsport, having already been the first to win a race with a bio-ethanol fuelled car.
Drayson-Barwell and JCB hope the new partnership, which will encompass both team sponsorship and collaborative research and development, will demonstrate the competitiveness and potential of energy-saving technologies.

Demonstrating the success of these technologies on the race track can definitely drive their acceptance and introduction into the marketplace.”
