Pannal, North Yorkshire-based bedding manufacturer Dunlopillo Latex Foam has fallen into administration, with 155 workers likely to lose their jobs.
Rising raw material and energy costs, as well as failure to secure funding, have been blamed for the downfall.
“Dunlopillo is one of the few truly worldwide brands in the sector that is immediately recognisable to the customer,” said Howard Smith of KPMG.
“We are continuing to trade the company while discussions take place with both external investors and trade buyers in an attempt to secure a going concern sale.”
