In a new scheme launched this year, powder coating supplier Axalta Powder Coating Systems (part of DuPont Corporation), have awarded Dura Manufacturing the first Industrial Coatings Applicator Network (ICAN) certificate in the UK.
The certification is an approved quality standard only offered to powder coaters meeting their exacting standards.
Dura’s finishing processes and applications were put through a series of rigorous tests including salt and scratch tests, paint finish and oven heat finish tests before being approved for accreditation.
Miki Booth, director of Dura Manufacturin,g commented: “This endorsement is excellent news for our company. Having our work independently tested and approved is an important recognition that our products and processes are of the highest quality”.
