A leading manufacturer of essential components and solutions has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Employers by the Financial Times.
Essentra Components was ranked among the UK’s best employers, which recognises employers in the areas of working conditions, salary, potential for development, and company image.
The Financial Times, in partnership with Statista, surveyed 20,000 employees in the UK, and asked them to rate their employers across a range of different factors in their workplace. Essentra stood out as one of the most highly recommended employers in the UK.
Potentially eligible companies were researched and surveyed using numerous sources — including industry associations, trade journals, and peer recommendations. Following this initial stage, employees (full-time and part-time) working at eligible companies were asked to complete a short anonymous survey about their employer, from which each company was provided a ranking.
Scott Fawcett, Chief Executive Officer at Essentra, says: “This is a fantastic achievement since it is our people that make a difference, enabling us to provide a friendly and hassle-free service to our customers, both in the UK and across our global operations. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive and engaging work environment that champions equality and celebrates diversity.”
Emma Reid, Company Secretary, added: “One of the pillars of our ESG strategy is our culture, so being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Employers reflects the progress that we’re making on our journey to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. This approach also ensures we attract, recruit, train and retain talent across our business.”
