Barclays Premier League club, Everton, unveiled a record breaking five-year kit contract with sportswear manufacturer Umbro. The UK firm is set to replace Nike as the club's kit supplier on 1 June 2014.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez said: “Everyone at the Club is not only delighted, but excited, to be back wearing the Umbro diamond next season.
“I have been involved in a number of discussions with Umbro over the past few months in preparation for next season and their approach to quality, design and the technical aspects of the product is unique and I have no doubt it will help us to perform to our full potential on the pitch.”
Tickets available for England vs Denmark at Wembley, March 5
Subscribers to The Manufacturer magazine will, for a short time, automatically go into a draw to win two tickets to Wembley Stadium for the England Vs Denmark game on March 5 including halfway line seats and a champagne reception.
Robert Elstone, Chief Executive Officer of Everton, added: “The club is delighted to be entering into this new and exciting partnership and looks forward to working alongside the Umbro team over the next five years.
“Umbro has an unrivalled football heritage and is committed to maintaining its reputation for design excellence and innovation.
“Of course, we’re starting from a good place. Based on many years of working together, Umbro enjoys a great affinity with Evertonians.”
The club shares a rich history with the iconic sportswear manufacturer, having worn the famous diamond brand in four previous decades from the 1970s-2000s.
