The final shortlist of entrants to The Manufacturer of the Year Awards 2012 is made up of some familiar names as well as a host of new companies eager to be acknowledged as best-in-class at what they do.
Entries have come from across a wide variety of manufacturing sectors and include firms of all sizes including previous entrants BAE Systems, wine company Accolade Wines, and last year’s Manufacturer of the Year runner-up tractor manufacturer CNH UK.
They are joined by other companies including Molson Coors Brewing, Sony UK Technology Centre, Caterpillar, Coca-Cola Enterprises and many more.

These finalists are now invited to meet and engage with each of the category judges at the CEME Centre, Essex for the second round of the competition on Wednesday 3rd October. The format of the day will begin with a presentation by the shortlisted company, followed by questions from a judging panel that includes leading manufacturers, previous award winners, practitioners and leading academics.

As we strive towards the recovery, it is important that we celebrate the hard work and achievements of the manufacturing industry, as it attempts to help re-balance our economy.”
The Manufacturer of the Year Awards is specifically designed to acknowledge and celebrate the strength and diversity of UK manufacturing. The awards aim to spread best practice, inspire others and show the important role UK manufacturing plays in today’s economy.
The Manufacturer of the Year Awards are being held on 21 November 2012 at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, London.
