The Manufacturer and Global Trade Review have joined forces to launch the first UK National Awards for Export Excellence.
According to the British Chambers of Commerce the UK is 14 years behind meeting the target of £1tn in annual exports, despite standout performances by many individual companies.
The judging panel includes:

The awards aim to raise the profile of exporting achievements by UK companies of all sizes, across a range of sectors.
Entrants will be judged by an independent panel of experts from some of the UK’s leading industry bodies.
UK exporters of all sizes and industries are eligible to enter any of the 10 categories across a range of sectors and geographical regions to highlight their company’s export accomplishments.
The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony, at St George’s Hall in Liverpool, on the evening of June 15.

Prior to the awards ceremony the UK Trade & Export Finance Conference 2016 will take place in Liverpool. This annual event will provide a crucial forum for the UK’s business, government and financial sectors to meet and discuss ongoing trade priorities ahead of the evening’s proceedings.
