Manufacturer, Birmingham Aluminium, is aiming to double its turnover in the next three years with a complete rebrand to target new markets, helped by more than £600,000 in ongoing funding support from Yorkshire Bank.

The rebrand will consist of a new logo and name, BAL GROUP: Global Aluminium Solutions. The new identity maintains the history and heritage of Birmingham Aluminium but reflects the international nature of the business today.

The firm manufacturers aluminium components and offers a diverse range of services to a wide spectrum of industries including retail, electronics and leisure.

Birmingham Aluminium Ltd already sells its products to 29 different countries and Steve Kane, managing director, believes the rebrand will help the company reach its goal of doubling its revenue over the next three years, by exporting to a broader global market, which he hopes to include the automotive sector.

In addition, Kane believes achieving these targets will lead to further investment in recruitment.

He said: “We believe the rebrand will help us fulfil our international ambitions by appealing to markets further afield.  By globalising further we will be able to increase the number of recruits we hire and invest back into Birmingham.  The team at Yorkshire Bank are always happy to listen to our ideas and goals, and to help us reach them in whatever way they can.”

Richard Wallace, head of Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Birmingham said: “Birmingham Aluminium Ltd has consistently shown that it is an ambitious business with the drive and commitment necessary to reach its growth aims.

“We are pleased to support a local business with a strong vision for the future, which produces knock-on benefits for the community by creating job opportunities.”
