Garage door manufacturer Garador has seen production output hit an all-time high following a recent £1.4m investment in its Somerset factory.

Production has shot up 15% since the company made the investment at the 1,600mYeovil site, which employs 90 people.

It now boasts the capability of being able to produce a single door panel every forty seconds, making it the most modern of its kind in Europe.

Garador’s managing director Simon Hipgrave said the investment was crucial to enable the firm to meet its pipeline of orders.

“The quality, versatility and competitive pricing of the Garador range of products is creating huge demand with both domestic and trade customers,” he said.

“Thanks to the additional factory capacity, we been able to focus on maintaining our consistently high standards while boosting production to continue delivering our products to an ever-expanding customer base.”

All Garador products are manufactured at the site through specialist engineering techniques, including doors in steel, timber, PVC and low-maintenance glass-reinforced polyester.
