As the government works out its response to manufacturers’ demands for a comprehensive new industrial strategy, The Manufacturer is launching its annual survey of sentiment around the sector.
It is part of The Manufacturer magazine’s commitment to be an independent source of commentary, information, data and support, to help companies of sizes within UK manufacturing to maximise their competitiveness and productivity.
The Annual Manufacturing Report 2018 is specifically designed to gauge the mood of manufacturers, to see how they are responding to an unprecedented series of pressures that offer hope and fear in almost equal measure.
From the great promise of new digital technologies to the gaping uncertainties of Brexit and the ever-looming skills shortage, it is important to find out how manufacturers are coping.
Let us know how you feel – the survey is very simple and quick to take, no more than five minutes, and will have an important bearing on how policymakers react in the coming months.
