The Han-Modular® series allows you to create a flexible and versatile solution by combining individual inserts for different transmission media such as data, signals and power into standard-sized industrial connector housings. The series offers over a hundred different inserts, enabling a wide range of customisable combination options. As a result, you can integrate multiple connectors into a single unit, reducing costs and the amount of installation space required.

To further assist you, our design team can create a 3D CAD visualisation of your build beforehand to ensure absolute accuracy before manufacturing begins.
HARTING also have forty years’ experience of building cable assemblies for the UK market and can offer you standard or custom cable lengths and a range of plastic or metal housings. All our customised products are built at our manufacturing facility in Northampton and are based on market-leading connectors from the extensive HARTING range, including M12, RJ45 and modular solutions.
Using these standard products, we design cable assemblies for the transmission of data, signals and power. Our expertise has seen us create solutions for a wide range of markets, including transportation, mechanical and plant engineering, automation technology, data centres and energy distribution.
One industry where the benefits of customisation are being applied is the fast-growing field of intralogistics. Due to the rapid expansion of online commerce, new logistics centres are required to be up and running quickly. Modularly structured conveyor technology reduces installation times while offering long-term flexibility in terms of maintenance and recommissioning.
As well as pre-assembled cable assemblies, HARTING also offers prefabricated cables designed according to customer requirements and optimised for modular conveyor systems, which considerably simplify production, testing and commissioning.
Other cable assembly options include a wide range of all-purpose M12 circular connectors, available with a traditional screw connection or the new, fast PushPull locking mechanism and RJ45, the perfect solution for transmitting high data rates in harsh industrial environments. Like the M12, they are available with PushPull connection technology for installations where space is at a premium.
We also offer the innovative ix Industrial®, our answer to the challenges presented by Industry 4.0 and the IoT. This solution is suitable for the next generation of miniaturised products as the PCB jack is 70% smaller than the RJ45 socket. In addition, the ix combines both data transmission and power supply into a single interface.
As a sign of our manufacturing expertise, HARTING have recently been awarded the prestigious Silver Quality Performance Level award from the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS). This is a globally recognised standard which was set up with the aim of establishing higher quality and reliability of rolling stock and infrastructure in the railway industry.
Silver Performance is currently the highest performance level issued, putting HARTING UK in the top 3% globally of all IRIS-certified companies. As well as the IRIS Silver Quality Award, our manufacturing facility also holds ISO 9001 certification for Quality Management, the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard and UL certification for Wiring Harnesses ZPFW2 / ZPFW8.
