The word that dominated business in 2019 was without a doubt: UNCERTAINTY. We don’t need to spell out why!

So this is why we are titling the 2020 Annual Manufacturing Report: THE SEARCH FOR STABILITY

What do you need in order to feel more stable in your business?

Is it some kind of business transformation that will put you on a firmer footing? If so, what are the particular issues you face?

Is it access to better capital funding, or perhaps more supportive government policy?

Does talk of cybercrime and companies being held to ransom by hackers worry you? How are your defences?

Might digital technologies be the answer? How is your digital journey, and which technologies are you adopting?

And how stable is your workforce? Are you committed to upskilling your people in order to retain them – and keep business on an even keel?

The survey will take you just 10 minutes:

We will publish the best ones (with your permission) and will invite the five best contributors to our event at the House of Lords in February 2020 where the report will be launched.
