The IET Achievement Awards recognise individuals from all over the world who are making exceptional contributions to the advancement of engineering, science and technology in all sectors.

Our awards recognise those who have impacted their industries, the engineering and technology communities and society. From early-stage apprentices and technicians to those whose careers span decades, we want to celebrate the incredible people who are engineering a better world.

So who do you know that deserves to win?

We’re asking you to nominate incredible engineers or technicians who have stood out from the crowd. We have categories to recognise everyone, whether early career or more established.

What categories are there?

The Achievement Medals

These medals recognise people who have made a real difference in their industry. They include the prestigious Mensforth Manufacturing Gold Medal and Faraday Medal – to name a few – for established career professionals, as well as three medals available to early career professionals which each also come with a monetary prize!

The Apprentice and Technicians Awards

We also recognise apprentices, individuals in technical support roles, and Armed Forces technicians who have demonstrated great commitment to engineering and technology – and these too come with a monetary prize and free IET membership!

Nominations close next week, so who will you choose to recognise? Winning the awards can help boost someone’s career, promote their company, and inspire others into engineering.
