Aero Sekur’s commitment to the Indian aerospace and defence sectors has been demonstrated by its taking space in ADS’s new Bangalore office.

The specialist in safety systems and flexible structures, which features advanced military apparel in its portfolio, has become one of the first organisations to invest in office space at A|D|S’ Bangalore facility.

The announcement supports Aero Sekur’s plans for expansion into the Asian market, which are backed by a co-operation agreement signed with SIKA in January 2009. In the period since Bangalore-based Sika Interplant Systems Ltd became its industrial partner, Aero Sekur has supported marketing for the region and product development.

The presence in Bangalore for Aero Sekur, established at A|D|S’ UK Advanced Engineering Regional Office (AERO), reinforces the company’s long term objective for expansion in the Indian market. Commenting, A|D|S’ Chief Executive, Rees Ward said:“We are delighted that Aero Sekur has become one of the first companies to take an office at AERO: they are an expanding organisation with a clear niche in advanced engineering and substantial scope for growth via Indian aerospace and defence applications.

“Aero Sekur has been a member of A|D|S since 2007 and we are pleased to support them in increasing their presence in the region.”

Design innovation is a core service from both Aero Sekur and its Industrial Partner SIKA. As a result, a developing product portfolio is available to the Indian market including helicopter emergency flotation systems, external liferaft systems, high performance parachutes and new generation NBC/combat suits.
