Automotive manufacturer Jaguar has won top prize at the What Car? awards in London.
Its new XF model claimed the highly coveted award of ‘Car of the Year’, going on to pip the Mercedes CLS and BMW 5 Series to the post in the ‘Best Executive Car’ category.
“All of us at Jaguar are delighted that we’ve taken the top spot at these awards, and that What Car? has named the new XF ‘Car of the Year’,” said Jaguar managing director Mike O’Driscoll. “We’re very pleased with the reaction the car has received, and our customer order bank is growing fast.”
Jaguar is now able to add this prestigious award to its other XF achievements, which include The Sun ‘Car of the Year’, the Top Gear magazine ‘Limo of the Year’, the CAR magazine ‘Interior of the Year’ and the Autocar ‘Design Award’.
